Malaysian Plane Lands at Shahjalal Airport after Bomb Threat Message

A Malaysian Airlines flight has made an emergency landing at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport following a bomb threat message.

The flight (flight number MH-196) landed in Dhaka from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at 9:38 pm on Wednesday (December 1).

Airport Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) BM Farman Ali confirmed the matter.

He said there was a message at the airport that bomb have been planted in the airplane. Based on this information, the security personnel are conducting a search on the flight.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBN) Mohammad Ziaul Haque said, “We are working. we will give details later.”
