Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal, secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association, claimed that State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan had broken his oath with misogynistic, perverted and sexually harassing remarks.
He
made the remarks at a news conference on Monday (December 6th).
Barrister
Kajal said if the state minister for information did not seek an unconditional
apology, legal action would be taken against him.
He
said that the constitutional oath taken by Dr. Murad as a Minister has been
continuously violated by him through his various comments / actions. As a
nation it is extremely unfortunate. His unsolicited remarks from a responsible
position like state minister have tarnished us as a nation.
Barrister
Kajal said Murad Hasan had been making unbridled obscene and vulgar remarks
about various people, especially his political opponents. Her statement is
extremely insulting to the citizens of the country, especially to women. He
should immediately withdraw his obscene and vulgar remarks and apologize
unconditionally to the nation. Otherwise necessary legal action will be taken
against him.
