A student of Dhaka University has lodged a complaint with Shahbagh Police Station against Dr Murad Hasan, who has just resigned from the post of State Minister for Information. Police have started an investigation into the allegations.

Shahbagh Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moudud Hawlader confirmed the matter to media on Tuesday night (December 7).

"We have made a GD on the basis of the allegations," he said. It will then be sent to the Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Division.

According to the OC, Murad made sarcastic remarks about female students of Dhaka University and insulted the university. University student Julius Caesar Talukdar has lodged a complaint with the police station.

According to the indictment, former Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Murad Hassan came to a live event on a Facebook page called NahidRaines Pictures and made provocative remarks. Caesar Talukder described the statement as "perverted and hateful".

Caesar alleged that Murad Hassan had deliberately neglected Dhaka University, the oldest and most traditional university in the country, and had made dirty remarks about female students of the university's Rokeya Hall and Shamsunnahar Hall.
