Job Seekers Hold Rally Demanding Raising Age Bar for Govt Jobs

A rally is being held in the capital's Shahbagh demanding four points including raising the age limit to apply for all types of jobs permanently. The job seekers are holding the demonstration under the banner of the All-Party Students Unity Council (Sarbadaliya Chhatra Oikya Parishad).

The rally started at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 8. Job seekers are taking part in it. They have raised four-point demands.

The four-point demands are:

1. Stopping recruitment corruption and fraud
2. Publishing the results of recruitment examinations (Preli and Written)
3. Fixing the job applications fee to a maximum of Tk 100
4. Permanently increase the age limit for application in all private jobs.

The job seekers announced to continue the demonstration till the four-point demands are realized.
