Great Victory Day Today, 16th December, is an unforgettable and glorious day of valor and heroism of the Bengali nation. Day to debut as a nation of heroes. The day to name an independent territory called Bangladesh on the map of the world. On the occasion of the day, President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid homage to the martyred freedom fighters at the National Memorial in Savar.
