Shahriar Alam, Bangladesh's State Minister for Foreign Affairs, has canceled his trip to Pakistan to attend an OIC special session on the situation in Afghanistan, which was set to commence on December 18 and 19.

The matter was confirmed by the Foreign Ministry in a statement issued on Saturday. Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen, on the other hand, has attended the meeting.

According to the media, the state minister got into contact with a Covid-19 infected individual. He's still in quarantine. That is why he had to cancel his Pakistan tour at the last minute.
