College Admission Process Starts from Jan 8

The online admission process for Class XI (session 2021-2022) at all government and non-government colleges along with equivalent institutions will begin on January 8 next year, reports BSS.

Eligible students will have to apply within January 15 via official website —www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd.

The classes will begin from March 2, according to a guideline published on Thursday night by the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Ministry of Education Ministry.

No admission tests are required as the students will be enrolled based on their results in the Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations said the guideline.

A candidate can submit at least five and a maximum of 10 choices of colleges during the process with an application fee of Tk 150.

The admission results will be published in phases.

On Thursday, the results of this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations were published with a combined pass rate of 93.58 percent, which was 82.87 percent in 2020.
