NCC Election: Ivy and Taimur's Electoral Campaigns Go on Full Swing

Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Awami League mayoral candidate Dr Selina Hayat Ivy and independent candidate BNP chairperson's adviser Taimur Alam Khandaker have made counter-allegations. The electoral campaigns are going on through the allegations and counter allegations of the two candidates.

Ivy made the allegations during the electoral campaigns on Sunday (January 2) at noon. In the afternoon, Taimur Alam responded to his allegations.

Meanwhile, councilor and reserved women councilor candidates are also active with the electoral campaigns. They are also giving various promises and leaflets are being distributed. Relatives and supporters are campaigning with the mayoral and councilor candidates.

The Election Commission has announced the final candidates for the post of mayor in this election. They are Awami League candidate Dr Selina Hayat Ivy, Independent candidate Advocate Taimur Alam Khandaker, Islami Andolon candidate Masum Billah, Bangladesh Kalyan Party candidate Mohammad Rashed Ferdous, Khilafah Majlis candidate ABM Sirajul Mamun, Bangladesh Khilafat Andolon candidate Jasim Uddin and Independent candidate Kamrul Islam Babu. Among the seven mayoral candidates, Ivy and Taimur Alam's electoral campaigns are now in full swing.

In the election, 148 are running for the post of general councilor. 34 people are contesting for the post of reserved women councilor. Voting for the Narayanganj City Corporation election will be held on January 18.
