Despite the increase in coronavirus infection in the country, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said, "We do not want to close educational institutions. Instead, we want every one of our students to come to the educational institution after receiving the coronavirus vaccine."

She said, however, it is not possible to bring primary-level students under it.

She was speaking to reporters at a function in the capital on Saturday (January 8).

"We need to be much more vigilant," she said. Coronavirus infections are on the rise. Physical classes are the most important thing to make up for the shortfall in education in the last one and a half years. But it is seen that the problem in the education sector will be more in the way many people do not care about the health rules. We should all follow the rules of hygiene with children in mind.

She said that although it is possible to bring students under vaccination from the age of 12, it is not possible to bring primary level students under it. That is why there is more concern about them.

She added that the education system would suffer the most if the new Corona situation escalated. That is why we want to bring the students under the vaccination and continue teaching in the educational institution.
