The Bangladesh Football
Federation (BFF) has cancelled the national football team's trip to Indonesia
later this month over the vaccine complication, BFF vice-president and national
team committee's chairman Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP, informed it through a video message

Bangladesh national
football team are scheduled to play two FIFA friendly matches against Indonesia
in Bali on January 24 and 27 in the January window under the guidance of new
Spanish coach Javier Cabrera, who is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Saturday
(Jan 15).
Nabil said: "We've
been earlier informed from Indonesia that all our players and team management
should have double coronavirus vaccine in order to enter their country, but at
this moment 15 players of the team have received the double dose and seven
players took single dose while the other six have not been vaccinated
yet."
So, at this stage, it's
not possible for us to go the tour due to vaccination problem, he added. Nabil,
however, hoped to have a list of 40-50 players for the national team and the
U-23 team before the next FIFA window in March and able to take the all the
players under vaccination.
