NCC Polls: Ivy Scores A Hat-trick as Mayor

candidate Selina Hayat Ivy made a history, clinching the mayoral post of
Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) for the third time on Sunday (January 16).
She easily defeated
her opponent, Advocate Taimur Alam Khandaker.
According to
unofficial sources, Ivy received 1,61,273 votes in 192 centers, while her
closest opponent Taimur Alam Khandaker received 92,171 votes in 192 centers,
giving Ivy a 69,102 vote lead.
