Film Actress Shimu’s Body Recovered from Keraniganj

Police have recovered the body of movie actress Raima Islam Shimu, who went missing on Sunday, from Keraniganj of Dhaka, reports media.

The body was recovered from Hazratpur bridge area on Monday morning.

Md Abu Salam Miah, Officer-in-charge of Keraniganj Police Station, said the body of Raima Islam Shimu was found in a sack.

Mentioning that the body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital (SSMCH) for autopsy, he said that they are investigating the matter.

It is to be noted that, Shimu’s relatives filed a general diary with Kalabagan Police Station on Sunday after she went missing.
