Educational Institutions Declared Shut for 2 Weeks

Amid the growing concern over the steep rise in Covid-19 cases across the country, the government has declared that educational institutes will remain shut for the next two weeks, Health Minister Zahid Maleque said in a press briefing on Friday.

A notification in this regard has been issued by the District and Field Administration Branch of the Cabinet Division on Friday (January 21). 

According to the circular, no more than 100 people can gather at social, political, religious, or state functions. Those who will join in these cases must bring a vaccination certificate or PCR certificate within 24 hours.
