93.26% Pass Rate in HSC & Equivalent Examinations

A total of 1,89,169 students achieved GPA-5.

The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were published on Sunday with an average pass rate of 95.26 percent.

A total of 1,89,169 students achieved GPA-5.

The chairmen of all the boards of education unveiled a summary of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday (February 13) at around 12:15 pm.

The Prime Minister announced the formality of publishing the results by virtually joining the International Mother Tongue Institute in the capital. The Minister of Education Dipu Moni was present at the time of the results. 

The pass rate in Rajshahi is 97.29 percent, in Barishal 95.76 percent, in Cumilla 97.49 percent, in Sylhet 94.80 percent, in Chattogram 89.39 percent, Dinajpur 92.43 percent, in Mymensingh 95.71 percent and in Jashore is 98.11 percent.

The SSC and the HSC examinations of 2021 could not be held as per the schedules due to the COVID-19 pandemic and then the government decided to hold the examinations with shortened syllabuses.

The HSC exams concluded on December 30.
