DNCC Mayor Warns of Cancelling Trade License of Unvaccinated Traders

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam warned of cancelling trade license if business people avoid receiving Covid-19 jabs.

“Trade license of business people will be cancelled unless they receive Covid-19 vaccine. It is a punishable offence not to take vaccine,” the mayor said while visiting the mass vaccination campaign at Suchona Community Centre in the capital’s Mohammadpur on Saturday (February 26).

“From now on, those who will move for taking trade license anew must have vaccinated. Trade license will be revoked if business people remain unvaccinated or if they do not have vaccine certificate,” Atiqul said.
