Two Children Drowned in Ctg

Two children drowned in a pond at Lelang village under Fatikchhari upazila of the Chattogram district this morning.

The victims were identified as Jattanu Nisa, 2 and Mim Akhter, 3.  

The children fell into the pond near their house at the village while they were playing beside it, beyond the knowledge of their parents.  

Local UP member Mohammad Rafique said locals and family members rescued the children and brought them to Fatikchhari Upazila Health Complex at 10.30 am where the attending doctor declared them dead.
