'Action Will Be Taken If Anyone Found Guilty of 2 Minors' Death'

Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque said that legal action will be taken against anyone found guilty of the children's death while consuming paracetamol syrup Napa in Ashuganj, Brahmanbaria.

He told reporters after a conference organized by the Society of Medicine in Bangladesh in the capital on Sunday (March 13th) that officials, including the district's civil surgeon, had been sent to investigate the incident. An inquiry committee has been formed. The sale of drugs has been stopped at the pharmacy from which the drugs were taken.

The minister said the syrups have been collected and the investigation committee is working. We are waiting for the report. Action will be taken according to that report. We will take action against the people who are involved, if found guilty, according to the law.
