Shitalakkhya Launch Capsize: Rescue Operations Halted

Fire Service and Civil Defence have halted rescue operations at the site of the launch capsize in Shitalakkhya River in Narayanganj.

However, a diving team has been kept on standby at the accident site, said an official of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Once the capsized launch is recovered from the river, the team would search for more bodies.

Meanwhile, fire service officials told the media that they would resume scouring the river tomorrow.
