Sholakia to Witness Country’s Largest Eid Congregation after Two Years

The largest Eid congregation is going to be held in Sholakia Maidan in Kishoreganj after closure of two years due to Covid-19 pandemic, reports media.

This time, the 195th largest congregation of the Eid-ul-Fitr will be held. The decision was taken at a meeting of Sholakia Eidgah Conducting Committee on Wednesday.

The meeting was presided over by the committee president and deputy commissioner Mohammad Shamim.

The decision was taken following the advice at high level of the government and considering the improved Covid-19 situation of the country.

The authorities will arrange Eid Jamaat at Sholakia prioritising highest security measures.
