To solve the gas crisis, it has been decided to cut off the gas supply to the industrial sector for four hours every day. No industrial consumer will get gas every day from 5 pm to 9 pm. It will start tomorrow, Tuesday (April 12), and run for the next 15 days.

Bangladesh Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources Corporation Petrobangla has given this information in a press release sent on Monday (April 11).

It said that on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, a special request has been made to all consumers of all industries to stop using gas for a total of four hours every day. The vigilance team of the gas distribution company will monitor the matter regularly.

Petrobangla sincerely apologizes to the consumers for this temporary inconvenience.

Earlier, Petrobangla had decided to cut off the gas supply from CNG stations for six hours from the beginning of Ramadan to Eid-ul-Fitr. As a result, gas supply to CNG stations is cut off for a total of 8 hours every day from 5 pm to 11 pm.
