Global COVID-19 Caseload Surpasses 50 Crore

Some 3,170 more people died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections worldwide in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths from the virus to 62,09,226.

Besides, some 10,35,217 people tested positive for coronavirus worldwide over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 50,08,43,839.

Some 14,01,609 people have recovered from the virus infection over the same period, bringing the total recoveries to 45,09,85,195.

International survey organization Worldometer came up with the information on Wednesday (April 13) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world since then.
