NSTU Student Gets Job in Amazon

Ahmed Kawsar, a student of the Applied Mathematics Department of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) got a job at Amazon. The authorities of the American multinational technology company confirmed the matter to Kawsar via e-mail. 

Kawsar will work as an applied scientist at Amazon's headquarters in Washington State, USA. He is scheduled to join the work in June this year. 

Ahmed Kawsar is a student in the 2014-15 academic year of the NSTU. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in machine learning at the Stevens Institute of Technology in the United States. 

Regarding the process of getting a job, he said, "Usually, I applied in the same way as everyone else. Later, they interviewed on coding, machine learning, mathematics, and statistics through the Zoom app. They later confirmed my job via e-mail." 

"It's great to have the opportunity to work for an organization like Amazon. The feeling of getting a job in such an organization is really amazing. The feeling of getting a job in an organization like Amazon, Facebook, Google is different," he said. 

Earlier, Kawsar received various national and international medals. He received Scientist of the Year from India, Best Research Medal from Singaporea and Morocco, Best Research Medal from Rajshahi University and Daffodil International University and National ICT Medal.
