Service Commission has issued a notification to the effect that the Public
Service Commission (PSC) will provide transcribers for differently-abled candidates in the 44th BCS examination.
The notification signed
by PSC Controller (Cadre) Mohammad Nazrul Islam was published on Thursday
(April 21).
According to the notification,
the preliminary examination of the 44th BCS will be held on 27th May. The PSC will
appoint a transcriber for the differently-abled candidates in the examination. Those who
need transcribers need to apply to the PSC Controller (Cadre) by April 28
stating the demand for transcribers.
Along with the application, candidates will have to submit a copy of the online application form, two certified copies of the candidate’s passport size photograph, a civil surgeon’s medical certificate about the necessity for a transcriber for the candidate, a certified copy of proof of disability attested by authorities concerned.
The notification also mentioned that, if any candidate fails to apply within the given time, they will not be able to claim this support from BPSC, and only the transcribers provided by the BPSC will be allowed to help the candidates.
