7-Year-Old Child Dies Falling Into Septic Tank in Khulna

A minor child died after falling into septic tank of an under-construction building at Khalishpur area of Khulna city on Saturday morning, reports media.

Deceased Abdullah, 7, was the son of Abul Kalam, a resident of Khalishpur Bangabasi area.

According to local people, Abdullah fell into the septic tank as it was left uncovered due to construction work. The child was playing beside the septic tank

His body was recovered after an hour of frantic effort, they said.

Khalishpur Police Station OC Kamal Hossain said an unnatural death case has been registered with the police station.
