New Secretaries at Four Ministries

Four additional secretaries have been made secretaries giving promotions by the government.

The Ministry of Public Administration said it in a notification on Wednesday, reports media.

Among them, Khulna divisional commissioner Md Ismail Hossain made Food Secretary, while Finance Division's additional secretary Farhina Ahmed made Environment, Forest and Climate Change secretary.

Agricultural Ministry's additional secretary Hasanuzzaman Kollol made Women and Children Welfare secretary after receiving promotion, while Energy Ministry's additional secretary Jahangir Alam made Social Welfare secretary.

Besides, another seperate notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration stated about the transfer of five secretaries from their respective working places.

Of them, Social Welfare secretary Mahfuza Akter made Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission chairman, while Shipping secretary Mohammad Mesbah Uddin Chowdhury made Local Government secretary.

Besides, Women and Children Affairs Secretary Dr M Anwar Hossain Howlader has been made Health Services Division Secretary; Rajuk Chairman (Secretary) ABM Amin Ullah Nuri has been made Road Transport and Highways Division Secretary under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges; and Secretary to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Md. Mostafa Kamal has been made Shipping Secretary.

On the other hand, Public Administration Ministry's additional secretary Md Anisur Rahman Mia made Rajuk Chairman.
