Clash between BCL, JCD Activists at DU

A chase and counter-chase took place between the activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) on the Dhaka University campus on Thursday noon.
JCD men brought out a procession on the campus in protest against attack on them. A chase and counter-chase took place when BCL men obstructed JCD men to observe their programme.
According to sources, many JCD men took position in Doel Chattar area from the morning. Being informed, BCL obstructed students to enter campus.
At least 27 persons were injured in a clash between activists of BCL and JCD at Central Shaheed Minar in the city on Tuesday. JCD called the protest programme for attacking them.
