Global Covid-19 Caseloads Surpass 540Mn

Some 724 more people died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections worldwide in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the virus to 63,32,387.

Besides, some 3,36,522 people tested positive for coronavirus worldwide over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 54,09,53,523.

Some 4,84,103 people have recovered from the virus infection over the same period, bringing the total recoveries to 51,61,83,780.

International survey organisation Worldometer came up with the information on Tuesday (June 14) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world since then.
