Russian Embassy Posts Video Touting Cheap Gas, Electricity

"With cheap gas, electricity, water, and a strong economy, Russia can withstand thousands of sanctions," says a video posted today (July 31, 2022) on the verified Facebook page of the Russian Embassy in Bangladesh.

There is no "cancel culture" in Russia and it has delicious cuisine with a rich history and literature, "all the more reasons to move to Russia", it said.

Among others, Russia prioritises traditional values with a hospitable environment, mentions the video.

The video, with its light-hearted tone, seems to take a dig at the West which has imposed sanctions on the country following the start of Ukraine-Russia war.
