Natore Teacher Death: Husband Mamun Produced in Court

Husband Mamun Hossain has been sent to court in connection with the viral death of college teacher Khairun Nahar in Natore. In the afternoon he will be taken to the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Moslem Uddin.

Today Monday (August 15) around 1 pm he was taken to court. Mamun was arrested under section 54 and handed over to the court.

Meanwhile, Assistant Director of Natore Sadar Hospital, Dr. Paritosh Roy said, no injury marks were found on the college teacher's body during the autopsy. As the report of the police and medical team was not sure about the murder, the evidence was sent to Dhaka.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Natore Sadar Police Station Nasim Ahmed said that the college teacher's cousin Saber Uddin filed a case of unnatural death with the police station as the plaintiff. As no one was accused in the case, Mamun was handed over to the court this afternoon under section 54.

Incidentally, on December 12, 2021, college student Mamun and teacher Khairun Nahar got married at Kazi Office. After six months of marriage, the matter came to light. A year ago, Mamun, a college student from Patpara village of Dharabarisha union of the same upazila, met teacher Nahar on Facebook. Later, a close relationship developed between the two of them. At one point the two decided to get married.
