55 Police Inspectors Promoted to ASP

55 officers have been promoted from Inspector of Police (Unarmed) to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

This information is known in a notification signed by Dhananjay Kumar Das, Deputy Secretary of the Police Branch of the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday (September 11).

According to the notification, the following officers working in the post of Inspector of Police (Unarmed) have been promoted to the post of Assistant Superintendent of Police and have been transferred to the Directorate of Police.

The promoted police inspectors have been working in various parts of the country including the capital for a long time as OCs and equivalents.

The order has been ordered with immediate effect in the notification. Also those who have been promoted have been asked to send their joining letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
