Ritu Porna Suffers Head Injury, Gets Three Stitches

Footballer Sanjida's dream was to ride an open-top bus for celebrating the Championship and share the joy with people. And that dream has come true today. Bangladesh women's football team is already on the way from the airport to BFF Bhaban by open-top bus. However, Ritu Porna Chakma was hit on the corner of the billboard on the road and injured on the head. 

Later, she was taken to CMH by ambulance. Ritu received three stitches on her forehead.

Saeed, Executive and Coaching Educator of BFF, told the media, Ritu gets hit by a banner or something like that on her forehead as soon as she gets on the flyover. She was immediately taken to the hospital.

Earlier today, Wednesday (September 21), team Sabina-Sanjida landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Bangladesh Biman flight BG 372 around 2:15 PM. There they were welcomed by State Minister for Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel and BFF Vice President Ataur Rahman Manik by cutting a cake and garlanding them.

Youth and Sports Secretary and officials of the Ministry and BFF were present on the occasion.
