GK Shamim: Court Sets Sept 25 for Verdict in Arms Case

A Dhaka tribunal fixed September 25 for delivering the judgment against SM Golam Kibria Shamim, popularly known as GK Shamim, and his seven bodyguards in an arms case.
Third Additional Metropolitan Sessions Court judge Sheikh Samidul Islam will pass the verdict on Sunday (September 25).
The accused are: Md Delwar Hossain, Md Murad Hossain, Md Jahidul Islam, Md Shahidul Islam, Md Kamal Hossain, Md Samsad Hossain and Md Aminul Islam.
GK Shamim, who was known as an influential contractor of Sabujbagh, Basabo and Motijheel areas of the capital, was arrested on September 20, 2019.
