Examination fees increased for the recruitment of manpower in government institutions. The Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance issued a circular on September 22.

It was published on the ministry's website today, Sunday (September 25).

It is said that the examination fee has been re-evaluated for the recruitment of manpower in all ministries, divisions, directorates, departments, offices, and autonomous institutions. However, the application fee has not been fixed again in Cadre Service.

As mentioned in the circular, the exam fee has been revised to Tk600 for the ninth grade or above (non-cadre) grade. Earlier it was Tk 500. The application fee has been doubled from the 13th to the 16th grade. Currently, it has been increased to Tk 200. Earlier it was Tk 100.

The examination fee has also doubled from the 17th to the 20th grade. It has been increased to Tk 100 in these three grades. Earlier it was Tk 50.

However, the application fee for the 10th grade remains unchanged at Tk 500. Apart from this, the examination fee of 300 taka remains unchanged for the 11th and 12th grades.

Recently job seekers have been demanding withdrawal of application fees. When asked why it is increased in this situation; in response, an official of the Ministry of Finance said that this is a government decision. He does not know the reason.
