The country's apex court declared the caretaker government illegal. There is no going back. Law Minister Anisul Haque said that no matter how BNP does politics, the caretaker government will not return.

He said this in response to a question from journalists at the end of a special seminar organized by the Department of Shipping at a hotel in the capital on the occasion of World Maritime Day on Thursday (August 29).

Regarding the warning to bring those involved in the process of Khaleda Zia's sentence under the law, he said, their statement amounts to contempt of court. The court will look into this matter.

Regarding the US ban on RAB, the law minister said, I think US ambassador Peter Haas should have seen everything from Bangladesh for a few more days and then given his comment. After he stays for a few more days, he will realize that the human rights situation has improved a lot. Because I believe that Sheikh Hasina has made a lot of progress in the development of people's human rights.
