This year’s HSC and equivalent exams are starting simultaneously across the country from Sunday (November 6). For this, examinees, teachers, officials and concerned authorities have to follow some instructions.

The Ministry of Education has issued instructions in this regard to complete the HSC examination in a fair and positive environment. This matter was informed by the public relations department of the ministry on Saturday.

As per instructions, candidates must enter the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. No one else can use mobile phones or unauthorized electronic devices in the examination center except the officer-in-charge.

The question set code will be announced 25 minutes before the start of the exam. Strict legal action will be taken against the person/persons who spread rumors of the question paper leaks.

Legal action will be taken against any organization, head of the organization, or teacher if they do illegal work in the examination center and if necessary, that center will be canceled.

No one other than the person concerned with the examination (examiner, room invigilator, center inspection team of the ministry, center inspection team of the board, district administration and upazila administration inspection team, member of the law enforcement agency responsible for security) will be allowed to enter the center.

Exam hall invigilators will confirm the subject, subject code, paper and set code as per schedule before the distribution of question papers.
