FIFA World Cup Stadiums in Qatar

Khalifa International Stadium: Capacity 45,416. There will be eight matches here. It is the only stadium, which was inaugurated before Qatar was given the responsibility to host the World Cup. It was created in 1976. It is the stadium of the country's men's football team.

Earlier Asian Games, Gulf Cup, AFC Asian Cup and World Athletics have been held here. In 2009, Brazil played a friendly match against England at this stadium. Liverpool won the Club World Cup here in 2019.
