Final Results of Primary Asst. Teacher Recruitment May Be Delayed Further

The final results of the recruitment exam for the post of assistant teacher in government primary schools may be released by the end of November. The final result is supposed to be declared by the third week of this month but it is getting delayed.

Today Saturday (November 19), Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman gave this information to the media.

He said that the State Minister of Primary and Mass Education and the Secretary of this Ministry have returned to the country. The meeting will be held soon. After that the decision to publish the result will be taken.

Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman said that assistant teachers will be appointed according to the circular published in 2020 without increasing the post of assistant teachers. The number of posts is not increasing in this recruitment. Although the decision was made to increase the post earlier, the ministry has moved away from that dicision.

Directorate of Primary Education published notification on October 20, 2020 for the recruitment of assistant teachers. But due to coronavirus epidemic, it was not possible to take the exam at that time. This year written and oral exams have been completed. 40 thousand 862 people passed the written exam in the first phase, 53 thousand 595 in the second phase and 57 thousand 368 in the third phase. 13 lakh 9 thousand 461 candidates applied for this recruitment exam.
