Kylian Mbappe scored twice to help the defending champions France beat Denmark 2-1 to qualify for the Round of 16 in FIFA World Cup 2022 here today.
Mbappe was on song throughout as France enjoyed a convincing spot in last 16 of the mega event.
In a hard-fought contest, Denmark put efforts to score a second equalizer but they failed to do so.
Mbappe took a 1-0 lead for France in 61st minute but Denmark was quick enough to make it 1-1 thanks to Andreas Christensen who was issued a yellow card.
