Jubo Mohila League Gets New President, GS

Daisy Sarwar and Sharmin Sultana Lily have been made president and general secretary of Jubo Mohila League.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader made the announcement at the third triennial council of Jubo Mohila League at the Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the council around 12:00pm by hoisting the national and party flags.

The last council of Jubo Mohila League was held in 2017. The Jubo Mohila League was founded in 2002, with a convening committee headed by Nazma Akhter and Apu Ukil.

It held its first council on March 5, 2014, electing the two as president and general secretary, respectively.

Nazma and Apu were re-elected as president and general secretary at the organization's second national triennial council on March 11, 2017.
