Bangladesh will visit New Zealand in December to take part in a three-match ODI and three-match T20I series as part of the ICC's Future Tour Programme (FTP), New Zealand Cricket (NZC) announced on Wednesday.

The Tigers' three-match ODI series will begin on December 17 in Dunedin, with the second and third games set for December 20 and 23 in Nelson and Napier, respectively.

The tourists then take part in the opening T20I match of the three-match series in Napier on December 27, with the second and third T20I being played at Mount Maunganui on December 29 and 31. In the past six years, Bangladesh has made eight tours to New Zealand.

However, New Zealand will tour Bangladesh immediately following the ICC ODI World Cup to play in a two-match Test series that is a part of the ICC Test Championship in November.
