AL Youth Wings to Hold Peace Rally on July 27

The ruling party Awami League's youth wings, the Jubo League, Swechasebak League, and Chhatra League, will organize a sizable peace rally in the capital on July 27 to denounce the violent actions of the BNP and its allies.

This declaration was delivered by Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, the general secretary of the Jubo League, on Monday morning at a news conference on Bangabandhu Avenue. 

The press conference was also attended by Swechasebak League Acting President Mesbahul Hossain Sacchu, General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu, Chhatra League President Saddam Hossain, and General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan.

The BNP-organized nationwide march was disrupted by recent attacks on party members, which the ruling party's young leaders have vehemently denounced.

The peace protest, which is slated to take place on July 27 outside the South Gate of the Baitul Mukarram Mosque, aims to draw at least 100,000 participants.
