The home of Gono Odhikar Parishad (partial) President Nurul Haque Nur was allegedly raided by detectives early on Wednesday, and it was from there that Chhatra Odhikar Parishad President Md Bin Yamin Mollah was taken.
According to Nur, the event occurred at around 2 am in the Mahanagar project neighborhood of Hatirjheel.
On a Facebook live video, Nur made the accusation, claiming that Bin Yamin Mollah, the president of the Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, was taken into custody after police forced open his door.
He repeated going live on Facebook after the event.
The police, however, refuted this accusation.
Nur said that one officer identified himself as the Motijheel Zone DB deputy commissioner.
According to Nur, police took mobile phones and CCTV cameras from his home.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Awlad Hossain of the Hatirjheel police station said when questioned about the situation that this report is false and that no one was taken during any raid.
