Sheikh Kamal's 74th Birth Anniv Today

The 74th birthday of courageous liberation warrior Shaheed Captain Sheikh Kamal, the oldest child of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be honored on Saturday, August 5 with a fitting celebration.
Numerous athletic and cultural organizations have planned extensive activities to honor the day, including the ruling Awami League, the well-known club Abahani Limited, and Abahani 'Samarthak Goshti.
Sheikh Kamal was born on August 5, 1949, in Tungipara, Gopalganj, and served as an executive member of the central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of the Awami League (AL).
