Ports Asks to Hoist Local Cautionary Signal 3

As heavy convection is still present over the North Bay due to a powerful monsoon, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla, and Payra maritime ports have been recommended to maintain local cautious signal number 3.

The North Bay and surrounding coastal parts of Bangladesh may see squally weather, according to a special statement from the Met office on Tuesday.

The message said that until further notice, all fishing boats and trawlers in the North Bay have to keep close to the coast and go slowly.
