Female Doctor Dies of Dengue

In the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), a female doctor who was receiving life-supporting treatment for dengue illness passed away.

It was Dewaan Almina Mishu who passed away.

Around one in the morning on Tuesday, she passed away in the hospital's ICU.

The doctor's passing was met with profound shock by the Directorate General of Health Services.

Dr. Mishu attended Mymensingh Medical College as a member of the 46th batch. She most recently attended the Bangladesh Institute of Child and Maternal Health (ICMH) as a resident (39 batch) in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
