5 Bangladeshi Films to Screen at 51st Cervantino Int’l Festival

The famous 51st Cervantino International Festival, the biggest cultural gathering in North America, has chosen to play five Bangladeshi movies. The festival, known for honoring a variety of artistic expressions, is slated to take place in Guanajuato, Mexico, from October 13 to October 19.

The lineup consists of "Saatao" by Khandaker Suman, "Ora 7 Jon" by Khizir Hayat Khan, "JK 1971" by Fakhrul Arefin Khan, "Priyanka" by Nazmus Saqib Ahmed, and "Mrittunjoyi" by Ujjal Kumar. Each movie provides a distinctive viewpoint and aims to astound viewers with its originality and nuance.

The Cervantino Festival, an annual event that dates back to 1972, honors the literary accomplishments of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, the author of the well-known Spanish classic "Don Quixote." This massive festival of art in all kinds has developed into a multiethnic exchange of artistic expressions that takes place across the world.

The film "JK 1971" will be shown on October 15, while "Ora 7 Jon" will be shown on October 16. On October 17 at 12:00, "Priyanka" will be featured on television, and on October 18, "Mrittunjoyi" by Ujjal Kumar. On October 19, "Saatao" will mark the festival's conclusion.
