In front of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU) in Dhaka's Shahbagh neighborhood, Jamaat-Shibir leaders and supporters set automobiles on fire on Tuesday morning.
Around 5:30 am, leaders and activists held a protest in front of the ambulance transporting Delawar Hossain Sayedee, a war criminal and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami.
In their insistence, Sayedee's burial had to take place in Dhaka. Later, police used sound bombs and tear gas to disperse them.
