In connection with his alleged participation in the leak of the medical college admissions question, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Bangladesh Police detained a doctor from the Khulna area on Friday.

Dr. Yunus Khan Tarim, proprietor of the Three Doctors Coaching Center in Khulna, was named as the person who was arrested.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Hasan Al Mamun said that a CID squad detained Dr. Tarim and sent him to Dhaka for additional questioning in the afternoon.

CID claims that Dr. Tarim has been leaking medical school admissions exam answers for 16 years. They said that by selling examination papers to coaching center students for between Tk 35 and Tk 40 lakh apiece, he had amassed a sizeable fortune.

Twelve members of a "question paper leaking racket" have so far been detained by CID. Dr. Tarim is one of seven doctors that were detained.
