The largest demonstration in Dhaka history will take held on Friday, September 1, according to the plans of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the Awami League's student wing.
At a news conference held on Saturday, August 26, at Madhu's Canteen of Dhaka University, BCL president Saddam Hossain made this declaration.
On September 1 at 3:00 pm, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the gathering as the principal guest at the storied Suhrawardy Udyan.
The BCL leaders said they have planned to bring more than 5 lakh BCL leaders and workers from across the country at the Friday's rally.
