DSE, CSE End Day With Loses

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended trading on a fall in prices. At the same time, transactions in Taka also decreased on DSE. Another market, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also ended with a fall in the index.

This information was revealed by DSE-CSE sources on Monday (September 18).

Shares worth Tk 734 crore 61 lakh were traded in DSE on Monday (September 18). As a result, 133 crore 7 lakh taka was traded less in DSE than the previous day. Shares worth Tk 867 crore 69 lakh were traded in DSE on Sunday (17 September).

Market analysis shows that the main DSE or DSEX index is down by 31 decimal points at 6,310 points. Among other indices, DSES or Shariah index is down by 1 point to 1,361 points and DS30 index is down by 2 points to 2,138 points.

Shares of 318 companies and mutual funds were traded on DSE on Monday (18 September). Among them, 68 rates increased, 84 decreased and 166 remained unchanged.

Another market, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) ended with the index falling. 8 crore 11 lakh shares were traded in CSE on this day.
